On-Site Registration Details:
We welcome additional conference attendees to come to the conference and register on-site. Registration will be open from 8-9 a.m. and again during the lunch break each day. The cost is $60, or $45 for students. A few print program books will be available for purchase ($8) for those who did not pre-register.
**PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED*** The following information is provided only as a reference for those who pre-registered.
All participants, including presenters, must register for the conference. Please note that online registration will close on March 19, 2017. The regular registration rate is $45, and the student/low-income rate is $30. We strongly encourage you to pre-register now, as on-site registration fees will be substantially higher ($60 regular, $45 student).
When you register, you will also have the option to purchase a print copy of the program book for $5, which you will receive when you check in at the conference. If you want a print copy, please do purchase now, as these may not be available for purchase on-site. If you do not wish to purchase a program book, an online PDF will be available for free to all attendees.

Residence Hall housing option details:
If you wish to stay in an Indiana University residence hall during the Future of American Folkloristics conference, you MUST make this reservation and pay during the online registration period. These rooms are available at a significant discount, but will only be available through March 19, 2017. We CANNOT give refunds on these rooms, so please be certain of your plans before purchasing.
The set fee is $220 for four nights (arriving Wednesday, May 17th, leaving Sunday, May 21st). The residence hall you stay in will be on the Indiana University campus. It will be air-conditioned, and you will have access to wireless internet access, laundry facilities, and a shared kitchen. This reservation is for single occupancy with shared restroom:
These rooms are furnished with bed, desk, chair, and a dresser, and include the following amenities:
- Linens, including a blanket and pillow and towels
- Shared restrooms by gender (one restroom per two bedrooms)
- Access to lounges and public areas within the building
- Ethernet connection with IU computing account
